I just read your post on writing tips and thought they were wonderful; thank you! One of the most significant things you mentioned was to write for the modern era. So often I find myself trying to write as someone else... it's very refreshing to realize that poets in 2012 can be very different than those of past centuries. Once again, I think you're brilliant.

I think so many of us writers tend to write as if we were someone else or tend to copy the out of date language from older poets we read.
